Archibald's sign appears to be more common in individuals who have Turners syndrome. It also seems to be more commonly found in pseudohypoparathyroidism of Albright's hereditary osteodystrophy, brachydactyly, acrodysostosis, and occasionally with homocystinuria.〔(Images in endocrinology: Archibald's metacarpal sign )〕
